Eastern Ontario Division Results

What an outstanding weekend of racing for our SLCC athletes at the Eastern Ontario Division (EOD) qualifiers! We are so proud of everyone for their hard work, determination, and most of all their sportsmanship. Highlights included Olivia Newman and Tyler Teeple taking 1st place overall in the U12 K-2 500m, Olivia placing 3rd and Tyler 4th in the U12 Women’s K-1 500m, and the duo earning 2nd in the U12 K-4 500m. Both girls qualified for the A Final at Ontario Championships in all their events, with Tyler also stepping in with ORCC’s Men’s K-4 crew and making the A Final there. Other strong performances came from Hugo Stephens (7th in K-1 500m, B Final), Carmen Tryon (12th in C-1 500m, C Final), and Eirnan & Hugo with ORCC (5th in K-4 500m, A Final). Faren Trotter also impressed in a highly competitive U14 field, missing the final by less than half a second. We are incredibly proud of all of you, not just for the results but for the heart and growth shown this season. A huge thank you to our parent volunteers who make it all possible. Congratulations to all our racers, and best of luck to those heading to Ontario Championships!
