Sydenham Lake Canoe Club is a small, non-profit paddling club run by a volunteer board in Sydenham, Ontario. We established in 2000 and have been paddling on Sydenham Lake ever since.
Through their love of paddling, youth can grow and challenge themselves to improve their physical and emotional wellbeing. With the help of our supportive staff, youth build paddling and leadership skills which last them a lifetime. Sydenham Lake Canoe Club is a family, and we would love to have you be a part of it.
SLCC offers three camp options. We offer a Recreational CanoeKids program for those who want to enjoy canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and spending time outdoors with friends. Further, we offer an Intro to Sprint program which allows youth to try out sprint canoes and kayaks with friends and cross-train for other sports during the offseason such as hockey, with an optional commitment to regattas. Lastly, we offer an athletic Competitive Sprint program for those who want to compete in the Canoe Kayak Canada sport of sprint canoe and kayaking throughout Ontario.
